Wine Club Edutainer – Lead

The Wine Club Edutainer is responsible for guest engagement and is the face of Frichette Winery in the tasting room. The ideal candidate has super strong customer service/hospitality skills, phenomenal verbal communication and has an incredible ability to connect and carry on engaging conversation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee wine club process to meet goals
  • Develop and send email communication to wine club regarding shipments & events
  • Ensure club shipments are processed, packed and shipped on time
  • Ensure that members’ accounts are accurate
  • Prepare shipment report and credit card update status for monthly meeting
  • Attend to email/phone requests from club members promptly
  • Develop and execute plans to increase sales and profits of wine club
  • Execute programs/events to increase club retention
  • Retain existing club members through customer engagement, consistent follow-up and outstanding customer service
  • Anticipate wine club member needs and find ways to over-deliver and exceed expectations
  • Process web orders
  • Facilitate Private Concierge Tastings

Other Duties

  • Pour wine at tasting bar, wine club events and other special events
  • Greet visitors within five seconds as they enter the winery
  • Provide education on the wines, wine region and Frichette Story
  • Hold engaging dialogue with guests and be curious about their interest in wine
  • Encourage customers to purchase wine, join wine club and attend events
  • Maintain a clean tasting room, bar area and patio
  • Organize and re-stock bar area
  • Handle sales transactions using POS
  • Prepare food items from our appetizer menu when needed

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule of weekdays, weekends and occasional evenings
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have completed Mandatory Alcohol Serving Training (MAST Card)
  • Must have Washing State Food Handlers Card


This is a part-time, 20-25 hours per week permanent position.

Pay: $13.50 per hour + Bonus
